i got a chihuahua and a black lab and they don’t fight. they play fight but my lab knows not to hurt her. train it good, keep an eye on the chihuahua at first. i hope that helps!!
Well she might be jealous so try to give them a each the same amount of play time. But if she is friendly I don’t think she will hurt the new dog.
One of the thorniest issues a pet owner may face is introducing another dog or puppy into the family. A dog who has had the house and family to himself may not welcome another dog in his "den," and may resent having to share his family’s attention.
Here’s a link that may give you guidelines on how to do this properly. good luck!

see if you can find someone who has a small dog or puppy and see how your lab reacts to it. Some shelters also allow the whole family (including pets) to meet prospective adoptions.
It depends on the dog? Has your lab been around other small dogs before? You might want to somehow have the two meet before you bring a new puppy home. Another thing to consider is that without meaning to your lab could really hurt the puppy. Labs are very rambunctious and this could be dangerous. Stepping on the puppy would really hurt it.
